Working with clay has been an endless source of challenge and discovery over the last 30 years but I have found creating oil lamps to be my greatest source of inspiration.

At every step, I use the finest materials available to create my one-of-a-kind oil lamps. Every lamp is individually hand-thrown using only the best stoneware and porcelain clays. They are high-fired to 2,300 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure that they will be strong and durable enough for both indoor and outdoor use as well as beautiful. The solid brass burners use the central draft system to burn virtually smoke-free. They can provide enough light to read by and to light up a room. Elfstar oil lamps are available in both hanging and tabletop designs, in small and large sizes, and with optional decorative globes. Lamp Gallery
Kanji are another source of inspiration. They are ancient symbols that have been worn as talismans since time immemorial. More...
